The Blu-ray and 2CD deluxe edition share the heart of Electric Blend: the 12-song album, all six songs from the Blaze of Light EP and “Privilege.” They do different jobs beyond that. The Blu-ray supplies Richard Whittaker’s 2026 vocal and instrumental mixes, original stereo mixes and 2016 live/rehearsal video. The 2CD supplies additional songs, acoustic performances and early mixes. A six-track “If Only For Tomorrow” CD single, available with the bundle rather than either edition alone, adds four mixes unique to that disc. To cover every recording and presentation listed for this reissue, you need the bundle; to choose one format, decide whether mixes and video or extra archive tracks matter more.
The distinction is particularly useful if you already own the 2015 album or the EP CD sold at gigs in 2017. A familiar song title can mean the same song in a new mix, an instrumental presentation, an acoustic performance or an early mix. Conversely, “Bronwen” and “Hello Though” are additional songs, not alternate versions of album tracks. The edition lists make those differences clearer than a simple disc count does.
What Each Edition Actually Adds
| Content | Blu-ray audio | 2CD deluxe | Bundle-only CD single |
|---|---|---|---|
| Electric Blend: 12 album songs | 2026 vocal and instrumental mixes in Dolby Atmos, 5.1 and stereo; original stereo mixes | CD1, newly mastered | No album sequence |
| Blaze of Light: six EP songs | Same mix options as the album | CD2, newly mastered | Versions of “If Only For Tomorrow,” not the full EP |
| “Privilege” | Included with the EP material and mix options | CD2 | An early mix |
| Additional songs and archive performances | No CD2-only bonus sequence | “Bronwen,” “Hello Though,” three acoustic tracks and five early mixes | Extended “If Only For Tomorrow” and three early mixes unique to the single |
| Video and booklet | 26-minute 2016 Under The Bridge video | 28-page book with a band-member track-by-track guide | Six-panel digi-sleeve |
The Blu-ray and 2CD columns describe separate editions. The bundle combines both and adds the single; it does not turn either standalone edition into the other. The two “If Only For Tomorrow” 2026 stereo tracks on the single are also represented among the Blu-ray’s new stereo vocal and instrumental mixes.
The Common Core: Album, EP and “Privilege”
The album sequence comprises “An Electric Blend,” “Only (From Out Of The Ashes),” “Peace & Love (Don’t It Feel Good?),” “Give Up Your Tears,” “From Out Of The Blues,” “For Free,” “A Newer Yesterday,” “Overshadowed,” “Let It Be Gone,” “Broken Windows,” “Washed Away” and “Yeah No.” The Blu-ray and 2CD listings both contain that 12-song sequence. One printed CD tracklist drops part of the second title; the complete title above follows the Blu-ray listing.
Both editions also include the six Blaze of Light EP songs: “In A Blaze Of Light,” “Small Town Man,” “If Only For Tomorrow,” “Searching For The Next Night,” “Tracks In The Frost” and “It Comes In Waves.” “Privilege” follows as a bonus track. SDE describes Blaze of Light as a six-new-song EP sold at some gigs in 2017. Its appearance here matters if you have only Electric Blend, but neither edition needs the bundle single to supply the basic EP programme.
That shared 19-song core is the point at which the formats stop being substitutes. On the Blu-ray, selecting “Overshadowed” can mean hearing it in one of the listed 2026 mixes or in the original stereo presentation. On CD1 it belongs to a newly mastered album sequence, while CD2 adds acoustic and early-mix versions. Those CD2 entries are distinct performances or mixes of a song already in the core—not three newly written songs called “Overshadowed.”
Choose the Blu-ray for Mix Options and the Under The Bridge Video
Richard Whittaker remixed the album, EP and “Privilege” for the Blu-ray. Its listed audio choices are 2026 Dolby Atmos, 5.1 and stereo vocal mixes; 2026 Dolby Atmos, 5.1 and stereo instrumental mixes; and original stereo mixes. SDE specifies 48/24 audio for these streams. Thus a buyer interested in hearing the same programme in stereo and surround, or in switching from a vocal track to its instrumental presentation, gets choices the 2CD is not described as supplying. These are mix and presentation options across the common core, not a set of extra songs.
The Blu-ray also includes a 26-minute video identified in the tracklist as “Live at Under The Bridge.” SDE describes the footage more specifically as the band rehearsing and playing live at the London venue in 2016. It is a meaningful addition if you want to see the trio perform, but a 26-minute rehearsal/live feature should not be mistaken for a complete concert film. The disc is described as region-free and comes in a clear Amaray case with an SDE Surround Series slipcase.
If your main reason for buying is the 2026 remix project, the Blu-ray is the direct choice. It also keeps the original stereo option available on the same disc, so the decision is not simply “new mix instead of old mix.” Check that your playback setup can use the audio presentation you want: choosing the Blu-ray for its Atmos and 5.1 streams makes most sense when you can play those formats, whereas its stereo options remain part of the listed package. The CD edition does not replace those Blu-ray streams or its video.
Choose the 2CD for Extra Songs, Acoustic Tracks and Early Mixes
The deluxe edition takes a different route through the archive. CD1 presents the album newly mastered. CD2 begins with the six EP songs and “Privilege,” also described as newly mastered, then continues beyond the Blu-ray’s listed 19-song programme. It adds the non-album songs “Bronwen” and “Hello Though.” For someone counting songs rather than mix options, these two titles are the clearest CD-only additions.
CD2 then supplies three named acoustic tracks: “Only (From Out Of The Ashes) (Acoustic),” “Peace & Love (Don’t It Feel Good?) (Acoustic)” and “Overshadowed (Acoustic).” These are additional performances of songs from the album. They are different kinds of extras from “Bronwen” and “Hello Though,” and they are not implied by the Blu-ray’s instrumental mixes: an acoustic performance is not the same thing as a vocal-free 2026 mix. SDE marks the acoustic tracks as previously unreleased.
Five CD2 tracks are identified as early mixes: “An Electric Blend,” “Only (From Out Of The Ashes),” “Give Up Your Tears,” “For Free” and “Overshadowed.” These let an archive-minded buyer follow named album songs through earlier mix versions. They do not mean that CD2 contains five additional compositions, nor does “newly mastered” mean the 2CD contains the Blu-ray’s full suite of 2026 Whittaker remixes. SDE likewise marks these early mixes as previously unreleased.
The physical presentation adds another reason to consider this edition. Its DVD-sized casebound book has 28 pages, including a track-by-track album guide drawn from new Sean Hannam interviews with Matt Deighton, Steve White and Damon Minchella. That commentary can help put the album sequence in context, although it does not change which recordings are on the CDs. If your priority is the EP on CD alongside those bonus recordings and the band’s discussion of the album, the 2CD is the focused purchase.
What the Bundle-only “If Only For Tomorrow” Single Completes
The bundle combines the Blu-ray and 2CD with a six-track “If Only For Tomorrow” CD single. Four of its tracks are identified as unavailable elsewhere: “If Only For Tomorrow (Extended Mix),” “From Out Of The Blues (Early Mix),” “Peace & Love (Don’t It Feel Good?) (Early Mix)” and “Privilege (Early Mix).” The shop describes the extended version as a new Richard Whittaker mix. Notice how this fills gaps left by CD2: that disc has five other named early mixes, but not these early mixes of “From Out Of The Blues,” “Peace & Love” and “Privilege.”

The single’s remaining tracks are “If Only For Tomorrow (2026 Stereo Mix)” and “If Only For Tomorrow (2026 Instrumental Stereo Mix).” They are on the single, but the Blu-ray also provides 2026 stereo vocal and instrumental mixes of the EP programme. SDE calls all six single tracks previously unreleased while distinguishing the first four as unique to the CD single. “Previously unreleased” therefore does not mean “obtainable only on this disc” for all six. Nor does the extended mix replace the ordinary EP song: it is another version of “If Only For Tomorrow.”
This matters when assembling a set from separate purchases. A Blu-ray plus a separately bought 2CD covers their respective contents, but that combination is not advertised as including the single. The shop identifies the single as available only as part of its four-disc bundle. Its direct bundle listing showed “Add to cart” on 25 October 2026; check the listing for present availability rather than treating that dated observation, or the advertised 500-bundle edition size, as a current stock count.
Which Package Fits Your Collection?
For the album and EP in newly mixed audio, with video: choose the Blu-ray. It is the edition that brings the shared songs into Atmos, 5.1 and new stereo vocal and instrumental mixes, while retaining original stereo presentations. It does not supply “Bronwen,” “Hello Though” or CD2’s acoustic and early-mix sequence.
For additional recordings on CD: choose the 2CD. Its value beyond the common core lies in two extra songs, three acoustic performances and five early mixes, plus the track-by-track book. It is not the way to obtain the Blu-ray’s surround mixes or Under The Bridge footage.
For every listed strand of this reissue: choose the bundle if available. It joins those complementary editions and supplies the four single-exclusive mixes, including the extended “If Only For Tomorrow.” If you own the 2015 album and the 2017 EP already, use the same distinction to avoid rebuying merely for familiar titles: the Blu-ray adds new ways to hear and see the core material; the 2CD adds named archive tracks; the bundle single closes four remaining mix gaps.
